Young Urbanists: Tower Hamlets – High Density Living

Tower Hamlets has one of the highest housing targets and rates of delivery in London, with limited land available this frequently takes the form of very high density and tall buildings. The High Density Living Supplementary Planning Document was initiated in response to this and the new London Plan which places emphasis on optimising housing density to deliver homes through a design led approach.
