Leigh will be speaking with colleague Vaughan Anderson in the 'An Old City for Young People' session at the Quality of Life: Remaking the post-industrial city day conference in Manchester on Friday 4 October 2024

Leigh is a director in Stantec’s transport planning team and is based in the Birmingham office. He’s involved in multiple land development projects delivering houses, jobs, social and community facilities.

With over 23 years of experience, Leigh’s background includes working with both the local government/transport authority and consulting engineering environments. He’s driven by a passion for finding new ways to positively contribute to building an innovative and human oriented transport future. In his previous roles, Leigh has served as the integrated transport planning manager for the City of Cape Town and the innovation, research and development manager at the Cape Town Transport & Urban Development Authority.

When not dealing with technical transport issues, Leigh likes to exercise other parts of his brain. Like attempting much-needed improvements to his guitar playing abilities.
