Gus McCarthy

Gus is a professional planner with a Master's Degree in planning from UCD and more than 40 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. He is a member of the Irish Planning Institute.

He is a Director of MKO Planning and Environmental Consultants, a practice with over 200 staff. MKO provides consultancy services in the areas of planning; environment; ecology; project management; project communications and related fields and works across virtually all sectors, including housing and renewable energy.

During his planning career, Gus has gained a wide range of experience in the planning and environmental fields. He provides planning advice and manages projects for both public and private sector clients.

Gus will be a panelist in the Irish Emerging Solutions: Planning session on Thursday 30 May.
