Eoghan is a Senior Planner with Galway City Council, bringing 20 years of experience in Planning and Local Government. After many years in a number of authorities across the Midlands, he has made his way to the West, where he is committed to shaping the future of Galway City. He has led the restructuring of the Planning Department in the City, establishing new teams focused on strategic planning and projects. A member of the Irish Planning Institute, Eoghan has developed plans and delivered projects in the areas of active travel, public realm and housing. He is a proponent of the Greater Galway Charter, and its principles, seeing it as a means to build capacity and collaboration within the City and enhance Galway’s reputation in urban leadership.

Eoghan will facilitate the Design Response session on Tuesday 25 March.
