If you’d like a break from work and meet some friendly faces, join us for an AoU Coffee Break!

These sessions are organised and hosted by a group of AoU Members based in Scotland, and are open to all. If you have never been to an AoU event before, or are thinking about joining the AoU, you are welcome to come along and join the discussion.

On Thursday 7 November, we'll be hearing from guest Iain MacPherson.

Iain is founder and director at Reorient Places. This consultancy is his take on a strategy and planning business responding to challenges in the 21st century. Iain specialises in reshaping the narrative of places and spaces through innovative thinking.

He was a planner with Kevin Murray Associates and has numerous plans and strategies under his belt, with several being recognised for their approach and content in RTPI Awards. He was also Director of Operations at Planning Aid Scotland. Alongside planning, he's working on plantech, (think fintech, but planning) and was part of a team who were accepted onto the 2022 CivTech programme.
