If you’d like a break from work and meet some friendly faces, join us for an AoU Coffee Break!

These sessions are organised and hosted by a group of AoU Members based in Scotland, and are open to all. If you have never been to an AoU event before, or are thinking about joining the AoU, you are welcome to come along and join the discussion.

On Thursday 5 December, we'll be hearing from guest Adiya Karsybek.

Adiya is an urban planner and designer specializing in inclusive, sustainable city environments, particularly for children and women. Through her extensive experience in Kazakhstan, she has contributed to projects focusing on community engagement and participatory design.

She has graduated from UCL's Bartlett School with a Master's degree in City Planning. Her dissertation focused on the gender bias in the planning profession in Kazakhstan.
